“The Wish Tree” is a participatory and installation art work in public space by Kurdish artist Bahzad Sulaiman.
It is a participatory project that aims to create a meeting point between all members of the neighborhood in particular and all residents of the city in general. The project was developed in collaboration with the Haus der Kulturen and supported by the Kulturfunke initiative in Lübeck.
“The Wish Tree” creates a meeting place for the wishes wishes of the people in a neighborhood and connects different cultures into an open but community neighborhood. The sculpture is to be created in Lübeck the House of Cultures – Intercultural is a place of encounter, knowledge of encounters, knowledge, diversity and connection between cultures.
