»Traces After Fika« is an room interdisciplinary installation combines sculptural elements with sound recordings from participatory Fika and coffee-reading sessions held with local communities. Centered around collected coffee grounds, the work transforms everyday remnants into traces of memory, conversation, and collective presence. Rather than approaching coffee reading as fortune-telling, the artwork reimagines it as a social language: a way of listening, imagining, and creating temporary spaces of belonging through collective participation.

Sound moves through the installation like an invisible thread, weaving these elements together. Drawn from conversations recorded during the coffee-reading sessions, the soundscape carries fragments of voices, pauses, laughter, and intimate exchanges. It acts as an auditory archive, connecting the works while recalling the participatory encounters at the heart of the installation.
