I would like to use a small space in the gallery and line it with photographs I took during the quarantine period last year. These photographs show plastic gloves and masks thrown on the street. The form and content of the room is meant to look like a bathroom. Before entering the room, visitors are asked to weigh themselves. Through this process, personal weight is reflected in the space and becomes part of the installation.
This creates an opportunity to reflect on predefined impressions of the body and space and how they are treated in the quarantine. Furthermore, the work invites us to reconsider the massive use of masks and gloves in everyday life and to consider what happens after use. In this way, the question of sustainability and environmental protection arises.
